Healing Blends International :: Body :: Stay Well :: Aromatherapy Essential Oils :: LAVENDER ( LAVENDULA AUGUSTIFOLIA) - 100% ORGANIC ESSENTIAL OIL

The most popular oil in aromatherapy and for every good reason, Lavender essential oil offers a multitude of physical, spiritual and emotional benefits. It is effective in the treatment of burns and scalds, a natural antibiotic, antiseptic , anti-depressant , sedative and detoxifier while stimulating the immune system. It promotes the healing of scarred skin by stimulating the cells of the wound to regenerate more quickly.

This oil led to the birth of the science of Aromatherapy as we know it today. French cosmetic chemist Rene Maurice Gattefosse was busy working in his lab one day on a new scent when he accidentally burned himself. His instinctual reaction was to submerge his burn into the nearest cool liquid he could find which happened to be a vat of lavender essential oil. He was surprised how quickly the pain subsided and the quick pace at which the burn was healed, with no scars, very little symptoms of heat, redness and blisters.

I bought this oil Almost two years ago at a fair at my job. It is the most amazing oil and I live it! I am not a medicine or pill taker, but I use my lavendar oil for everything from anxiety, stress, headaches to even sinus congestion, and sinusitis. I misplaced it for a few weeks and I was lost. I have since found it and I am happy again. I will be ordering a back up just in case. The quality of the oil is very high and pure. Truly a miracle in a bottle!
