Clary Sage Essential Oil ( Salvia sclarea ) - 15ml

Clary Sage derives its name from the Latin " Clarus" meaning clear as the herb was once used for clearing mucous from the eyes. In the middle ages, it was referred to as " Oculus Christi" meaning eye of Christ.

Today it is a key ingredient in many skin formulas because of its cell regenerating properties as well as its ability to arrest inflamed and puffy skin. It effectively balances the sebaceaous glands and used on the scalp, it controls greasy hair as well as encourage hair growth.

Those with nervous tension and a racing mind will well benefit from the warm, relaxing qualities of this oil as it encourages feelings of well being. In short, an excellent pick me up for the nerves.

An excellent hormone balancer, it eases pre menstrual syndrome and cramping, regulates scanty periods. An overall tonic and balancing oil for the body.

Smelly sneakers ( enough for 2 pairs of shoes)
5 teaspoons baking soda
2 drops Clary Sage Essential Oil ( EO)
5 drops Rosemary EO
3 drops Lavender EO
Add oils to baking soda, mixing well. Sprinkle into shoes and leave overnight. Tap out the shoes the following morning. They'll be fresh and good to go!

Foot Odor Powder
2 drops of Clary Sage EO to 1 tablespoon baking powder.
Put baking powder in a Ziploc bag and add Clary Sage oil. Shake the bag well. Allow to dry and then separate the powder by rolling the bag over with a rolling pin or other heavy object. Dust the feet regularly with the powder especially between the toes. Bathe feet also in a bowl of water to which 2 drops of Clary Sage EO has been added.

Reusable Kitchen Picker Upper ( Wipes)
Although this says kitchen, you can in the bathroom as well to wipe countertops and for general cleaning. Following the recipe is a list of oils and their property to help guide you in your choice.

For this you will need cotton wash rags or you can cut an old t shirt into rag size pieces
1 jar with a tightly closed lid in which to put the rags
1 cup of warm water
1/8 cup castile soap
9 drops of your favorite EO
Add the water, soap and EO drops to jar. Place rags in the jar. Cover and shake well until rags are thoroughly soaked. The rags are now ready to be used. They can be washed and with a new batch of liquid made, be reused time and time again.
Deodorizing - Clary Sage, Eucalyptus, Patchouli
Antiseptic - Bergamot, Basil, Peppermint, Cinnamon, Eucalyptus, Frankincense, Rose Geranium, Juniper, Lavender, Lemon, Lemongrass, Neroli, Orange, Patchouli, Rosemary
Anti-bacterial - Eucalyptus, Lavender, Lemon, Lemongrass, Tea Tree, Juniper

3 Tablespoons finely ground white cornmeal
3 Tablespoons ground almond meal
10 drops Lavender
5 drops Bergamot
3 drops Clary Sage
2-3 Tablespoons water
Combine cornmeal, almond meal and essential oils. Gradually add water mixing to a creamy paste. Apply to skin in a circular motion. Allow to dry and tighten. Rinse with lukewarm water and pat dry.


Spray Bottle
2 Ozs. Distilled Water
6 drops Lavender
2 drops Clary Sage
2 drops Rose Geranium
2 drops Peppermint

Place all ingredients in spray bottle and shake well. Remember always to shake well before each use. Mist in vehicle prior to those challenging slow traffic journeys.
