One day, quite by chance, while driving , I was passing a crystal shop and decided to stop. It was owned by Myrna Farbiash, a Reiki Master Teacher.
At the time, I knew nothing about Reiki. While there, I learned that Myrna was leading a Reiki circle that very evening . Curiosity piqued, I decided to attend.
That evening was unlike anything I had ever experienced.
For the first time, I became aware of a gentle flow of energy that I couldn't explain, yet instinctively knew was real. It was a quiet but profound experience that stayed with me long after I left.
I continued attending Myrna's Reiki circles and shortly after, studied Reiki with her, becoming a Reiki Master in the Usui Lineage.
Just as importantly, Myrna's crystal shop introduced me to another world of healing. I found myself surrounded by crystals, books, conversations, and people who shared a genuine curiosity about the many ways healing could be understood.
I didn't realize it then, but I had stepped through the first door.
It was the beginning of a journey that would lead me to remarkable teachers, ancient traditions, and a lifelong commitment to learning.
