Shungite is from Karelia Russia, first discovered at  Zazhoginskoye near Lake Onega in the Shunga region.

It is called the stone of life due to its healing and anti-bacterial qualities.  Used to purify water, it absorbs negative energy, balances the liquid matrix in the body and is an excellent source of protection from harmful electro-magnetic radiation from computers, microwaves, tv set and mobile phones.
